How did Warrior Healing Center personalize its workspace?

Before managing patients with BasicOps, Warrior Healing Center had been using Freedcamp to track and manage its patient data. Cathie emphasized, “It was a lot clunkier than BasicOps”.

Using Project Templates, Warrior Healing Center can quickly replicate complex workflows to fit each patient's needs. Combined with Task Discussions, Chat, and Group Chat, BasicOps enables seamless collaboration between multiple volunteers working with the same patient.

In order to proficiently care for each veteran, Warrior Healing Center customizes its Tasks. Cathie says, “The way we set it up is that every individual person that comes in seeking assistance is a Task. Then we organize the information with Subtasks underneath each one”. How has BasicOps affected Warrior Healing Center’s work?

Person-to-person care is central to the efforts of Warrior Healing Center, and any time they spend away from it could be detrimental. BasicOps allows Cathie and the rest of her volunteer corps to manage all their behind-the-scenes business while they spend their time providing care. “This is helping. BasicOps is helping to save lives, really”, explains Cathie. 

Due to the nature of their volunteer team, volunteers aren’t always able to give aid to the same veterans. It is important for other members of the team to be able to provide care, and they can successfully stay on track with their care plans that they post into BasicOps. Collaboration and transparency are key in healthcare, and Warrior Healing Center uses BasicOps to excel in both aspects.
