Generates an on-demand friction analysis report for a specific project in BasicOps. AI pulls all blocked, stalled, overdue, and at-risk tasks, surfaces the root causes of slowdowns, and identifies the team members or dependencies creating bottlenecks. The report posts automatically to your project channel or DM.

How to Use It:

  • Open your chat app (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.)

  • Load the agent instructions (paste below into your system prompt)

  • Trigger the friction report with a prompt like: 'Generate friction report for Project Acme'

  • Review the draft report in the chat app

  • Refine the prompt if needed (e.g., 'Show only overdue items', 'Focus on dependency blockers')

  • Tell the agent to send the completed report to BasicOps

  • Check your BasicOps project channel or DM—the report will be posted there

Minimum Requirements:

  • MCP connection to BasicOps (required)

  • Project must have at least 5+ tasks with status data (blocked, overdue, or at-risk)

  • Tasks should have clear titles, owners, statuses, and due dates for best results
